SERVICE

All of Marin GreenPlay Camp’s campers have the opportunity to give back to the places we explore through service projects every week. One such project is the Meadow Garden at the Mill Valley Community Center adjacent to the Terwilliger Marsh. Please visit to see the amazing work our campers have been engaged in year after year! Partners on other projects include Marin County Parks, Golden Gate Parks Conservancy, Friends of Corte Madera Creek, Mill Valley StreamKeepers and many more.

#CAMPFORALLKIDS

For the Summer of 2022, Marin GreenPlay Camp received a grant from Mill Valley StreamKeepers to bring kids to camp from low income families in Marin County. We partnered with Performing Stars of Marin to make this equity initiative happen. Mill Valley StreamKeepers has kindly extended the #campforallkids initiative for Summer 2023. Friends of Corte Madera Creek, another wonderful watershed protector, has provided Marin GreenPlay Camp with a grant for Summer 2023 to bring children from the San Rafael City School District to camp.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Marin GreenPlay Camp seeks to provide environmental education connecting children from underserved communities to place in the wild beauty of Marin County thereby creating empowered and lifelong citizen leaders.   We also strive to serve the community but by contributing to school fundraising events but also by incorporating a service component into every week of camp.

In the past, we have given many thousands of dollars in both need-based scholarships and school auction donations to make the experiences we offer more accessible.  To inquire about funding a child to attend Marin GreenPlay Camp or to procure a donation to your school's fundraising event, please send an email to info@maringreenplay.com.
